Paper Messengers

The strategy behind the paper messengers design focuses on connecting different countries through their national emblems, traditional folk embroidery, ornaments and clothing. To show pride in the heritage and style of traditional folk embroidery and ornament I decided to create distinctive and attractive stamps which reflect the customs, culture and character of the people in different countries. These stamps will bring traditions, original production and folklore into everyday life.

In September 2014 the Paper Messengers were mentioned in the RUD magazine published by the Centre for Folk Art Production in Slovakia.

The Paper Messengers were named a finalist at The National Design Award 2016 in Slovakia.

The Paper Messengers made it to the 2nd round of the Rings in water 2016 competition.
